For generations, our family has harvested and enjoyed this extra virgin olive oil pressed in the most remote, virgin part of Greece. Harvested at the edge of the Aegean Sea from small Greek groves, each bottle of Kouzini contains over650of the finest, cold pressed Lakonian olives. We bottle our premium oil using dark green glass to maintain peak flavor, aroma and freshness.  What started off as an everyday, wholesome ingredient in our family’s daily lives, has become a rarity in today’s “extra virgin” marketplace. That’s why we decided to bring Kouzini all the way from our small Greek town, to you. The first cold pressing is what gives Kouzini Greek extra virgin olive oil it’s super low acidity of 0-0.4%, less than half the required maximum of 0.8% to be classified as extra virgin. In other words, if the proposed changes to olive oil grades are passed into law, Kouzini olive oil would be classified under thesuper extra virgincategory.

While we love our oil on everything, it’s the land and farmers of our town in Lakonia to which we owe this superior category olive oil to. What makes this so dear to our hearts are the personal relationships we share with those who help us move Kouzini from the tree, to the press, within hours of harvest.
